Youth Development

Long-term development of young players from academy age to elite professional — football and rugby, education-first, family-centred.

The story

Why this matters.

The journey from a promising 14-year-old to a senior professional is long and easy to derail. Most young African athletes never make it because the path between local sport and the professional game is full of dead ends — bad agents, exploitative trials, missed paperwork.

We work with players from as early as 13 or 14, building a multi-year development plan that pairs sporting progression with education, character, and family stability. Years before they are ready for a professional contract, the groundwork is already in place.

Some of the players we sign at 14 we will still be representing at 34. That is the relationship we are building — and what makes the difference between potential and a career.

How we do it

Our process.

  1. 01

    Long-term plan

A development roadmap built with the player, family, and current academy. Football or rugby, the principle is the same.

  2. 02

    Sport pathway

Technical and tactical development through partner academies, exposure tournaments, and structured introductions to senior pathways.

  3. 03

    Education first

Every young player has an active education plan that survives every move and is reviewed every term — not optional.

  4. 04

    Transition to senior

When the time is right, we run the same elite representation process used for our established professionals — no second-tier service for younger players.
