Lumasa partners with Kampala Football Academy on youth pathway
Lumasa Sports Management and Kampala Football Academy have launched a joint pathway programme for elite young footballers in Uganda.
Lumasa Sports Management has announced a partnership with Kampala Football Academy to formalise a youth pathway programme for elite young footballers identified across Uganda.
The programme commits the agency to representing top academy talent through their professional transition while the academy commits to structured technical and educational development from age 13.
'Most young African players don't make it because the path between local football and the professional game is full of dead ends,' said James Wanyonyi, Head of Talent Scouting. 'This partnership closes one of those gaps.'
